From October 11th, China Railway will implement the train operation schedule for the fourth quarter. The total number of passenger trains scheduled to operate within the management scope of Hangzhou Station reached 534 pairs.


The Huzhou-Hangzhou section of the Hefei-Hangzhou high-speed railway and the Hangzhouxi Railway Station will have more trains and reachable cities.


The newly opened trains cover Changchun, Yinchuan, Lanzhou, Xi'an, Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Yantai, Qingdao, Wuhan, Nanchang, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanning, Kunming and other long-distance directions, as well as Bozhou, Fuyang, Hefei, Huangshan, Nanjing, Huaibei, Lianyungang and other short-distance directions in the Yangtze River Delta.


Hangzhou will open the EMU train bound for Changchun for the first time. There will be a pair of EMU trains operating between Hangzhouxi Railway Station and Changchunxi Railway Station, and the fastest one-way travel time is 11 hours and 27 minutes.


The number of trains to Wuhan has been increased. There will be 10 pairs of trains from Hangzhouxi Railway Station to Wuhan Railway Station and Hankou Railway Station.


The travel time to Zhengzhou is shortened to around 4 hours. A pair of express trains with the fastest one-way travel time of 4 hours and 29 minutes will be added between Hangzhouxi Railway Station and Zhengzhoudong Railway Station, and only stop at some larger stations. Its travel time is 36 minutes shorter than the current fastest high-speed train between Hangzhou and Zhengzhou.


Thanks to the opening of new lines and stations, the function of the Hangzhou railway hub has been optimized.


In the new timetable, 13 pairs of EMU trains have been added from Hangzhoudong Railway Station to Huaihua, Changsha, Nanchang, Quzhou, Taizhou, Wenling, Qiandaohu, and Dongtai.


The railway department also actively meets the market demand and explores the operation of daytime sleeper EMU trains between Hangzhou and Chengdu to provide passengers with more medium and long-distance travel options. In the new timetable, the one-way operation time of the sleeper EMU train from Hangzhoudong Railway Station to Chengdudong Railway Station is about 14 hours. Among them, D2222 departs from Hangzhoudong at 0808 and arrives at Chengdudong at 2205. D2221 departs from Chengdudong at 0735 and arrives at Hangzhoudong at 2151.
