Working with the Transfar Group, Zhejiang Provincial Charity Federation donated 5 million yuan to the "Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Anti-Epidemic Care Fund on the afternoon of March 30th. The donation ceremony was held in the meeting room of the Provincial Federation of Overseas Chinese.

As a province of overseas Chinese resources, Zhejiang Province is the hometown for 2.02 million overseas Chinese living in more than 180 countries and regions in the world. Some time ago, when the outbreak of COVID-19 in China, Zhejiang overseas Chinese enthusiastically donated money and materials to their hometown, effectively supporting the anti-epidemic work of motherland and Zhejiang.

Recently, the epidemic spreads abroad, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government are very concerned about overseas Chinese living in the epidemic area and have taken effective measures including shipping anti-epidemic materials, opening a service consultation hotline for overseas Chinese, setting up "Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Health Care Consultation Platform ", sending medical teams and compiling Overseas Epidemic Prevention Manual, establishing "Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Anti-epidemic Care Fund" to actively help overseas Chinese to overcome the difficulty.

The Provincial Charity Federation and Transfar Group, rapidly has taken action in response to the difficulty of the overseas Chinese, donated 5 million yuan through the Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation to Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Anti-epidemic Care Fund, reflecting the warm care and kinship towards the Overseas Chinese.

Offering timely assistance which is like fuel in the cold snowy weather, Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Anti-epidemic Care Fund is one of Aids to Chinese Students Studying Abroad Project, The funds after they are in place will be distributed to the patriots by overseas Chinese organizations and overseas Chinese leaders Follow-up funds will cover more countries and regions and benefit more overseas Chinese and Chinese students studying abroad.

3月30日下午，省慈善联合总会联手传化集团向“浙江海外侨胞抗疫关爱基金”捐款500万元捐赠仪式在省侨联会议室举行。

作为侨务资源大省的浙江，有202万华侨华人遍布于世界180多个国家和地区。前段时间，当新冠肺炎疫情在中国爆发后，浙江的华侨华人踊跃向家乡捐款捐物，有力地支援了祖国和浙江的抗疫工作。

近期，疫情在境外蔓延，省委、省政府对身处疫情中的海外侨胞十分牵挂，采取了航运抗疫物资、开通为侨服务咨询热线、开设“浙江海外侨胞健康关爱咨询平台”、派出医疗队、编印《海外防疫手册》、建立“浙江海外侨胞抗疫关爱基金”等有力举措积极驰援海外侨胞共克时艰。

省慈善联合总会和传化集团急海外侨胞所急，迅速行动，在第一时间联手通过省侨缘会向“浙江海外侨胞抗疫关爱基金”捐款500万元，体现了对海外侨胞血浓于水的骨肉亲情。

海外侨胞抗疫关爱基金是广大侨胞冰解冻释的“疫”中之炭，也是“爱心守护、同心战疫”“十个一”留学生帮扶行动的重要内容之一。待资金到位后，由各住在国侨团、侨领牵头承接补助发放等具体工作。后续资金将覆盖更多国家和地区，惠及更广大的侨胞和留学生群体。
