"Digital Trade and Women's Development" academia–industry conference was held in Hangzhou, on September 27. Sabrina Ielmoli Beuxe, Chief of the eTrade Initiatives Section, E-commerce and Digital Economy Branch at UNCTAD, noted that digital technology can break down time and space barriers, lowering the threshold for women to access new markets.
