As one of the "special lines for the Asian Games", Metro Line 7 brings together a number of transport hubs, and the rich Asian Games elements in the Olympic Sports Centre station depict the unique picture of Asian Games with Hangzhou features.

During the entire construction of Hangzhou Metro Line 8, the record of subsidence warning was zero. This also sets a record of 3,466 meters of one-time propulsion without opening the bucket and without changing the cutterhead using the large diameter mud-water TBM with zero discharge of mud treatment.

The success of the 2,800 metres’one-time interval tunnel propulsion underneath the Qiantang river marks the longest metro tunnel under rivers in Hangzhou.

It is the dedication of metro constructors that makes it possible for Hangzhou Metro to facilitate the development of urban transportation and build up the city of Asian Games in the swiftest manner, making it easier and more efficient for gather-together, and demonstrating "Hangzhou speed" to the world!
