Hangzhou is a famous city of the Internet and is also the capital of livestream e-commerce. The Global Youth Club invites international students from around the world to join in 3 live streamings to promote the traditional products of Hangzhou through live streaming.


Mohammad Ashim Ayub, a biomedical engineering student from Kathmandu, Nepal, introduced the local snacks of Hangzhou, such as like West Lake lotus root starch, Victory Cake and Dragon Beard Candy through live streaming.

During the livestream, Mohammad tasted the famous snacks of Hangzhou and explained their taste, texture and features, helping the audience to understand how foreigners perceive these snacks.


There are more than 500 types of fans in China today, and the damask silk fan from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is known as one of the four most famous fans in China.


Hajar Bouayad, a student from Casablanca, Morocco, introduced Traditional Chinese Fan in another live stream. She felt that the exquisitely crafted Chinese fans show the splendor of Chinese culture.

Besides, as the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty, Hangzhou plays a pivotal role in the culture and history of Chinese porcelain and is an important place for the production, consumption and distribution of porcelain.

Avishek Burua from Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, brought Porcelain to the audience in a live streaming. He said that porcelain products show the Chinese rhyme and aesthetics of life, and using porcelain in daily life is a good way to learn about Chinese culture.
