Danyal's Chinese dictionary

From the perspective of a 7-year-old Syrian boy Danyal who was born in Beilun, Ningbo, and with his learning of ancient Chinese characters as the main line, the film tells the story of the boy who sees Ningbo as his hometown. Danyal gets along well with other kids in the kindergarten. His father has started a business in Beilun while his mother adapted herself to the harmonious community environment. Chinese is Daniel's second mother tongue. 

Through extending the story from this small family in Beilun to the big family of China, the film director seeks to express the profound meaning of "the world as the home of humans living in harmony and peace". The film also shows the city landscape and cultural sights of Beilun, thus reflecting the theme of "beautiful Zhejiang".
