Since the 2nd "@Beautiful Zhejiang" Global Short Video Contest was launched in July, it has received great support and active participation from domestic and overseas video creators. More than 800 wonderful pieces of works from China and abroad have been collected in the past three months. The fully enthusiastic participants have been telling the unlimited charm of “Beautiful Zhejiang” to the world with their unique stories.

In order to select excellent works that describe the beauty of Zhejiang, the contest organizing committee has primarily selected 366 pieces of shortlisted works for online voting, including about 60 pieces of special works of “Memories of 100 Years in My Eyes” and about 130 pieces of special works of “The Most Beautiful Foreign Experiencers”. The online voting period is seven days from October 29 to November 5. We sincerely invite you to enter the official voting page and vote for your favorite works. The online votes will be counted into the final points.

In order to guarantee the fairness of the contest, every voter can give 10 votes a day. Please select 10 different topics to vote.

The total points of the works = Professional judges’ points (90%) + online votes (10%)

This contest attracts attention and participation from all walks of life, including individuals and teams, short video experts, universities, media companies, and public institutions. Some of the works depict culture and times regarding the Asian Games, Liangzhu, Grand Canal, Xiling Seal Art Society, Shaoxing Opera, and ancient towns in the south of Yangtze River. Some of them are vlogs made by returned students from abroad recording their foreign friends’ daily life in Zhejiang. Some retired participants have shared the stories of their hometown in English. Many foreign participants have also demonstrated professional documentary-level skills on themes of the Earth, human beings and love, in delicate and artistic ways and different languages.

The newly-added special topics of "Memories of 100 Years in My Eyes" and "The Most Beautiful Foreign Experiencers" have also become hot topics. Special works of "Memories of 100 Years in My Eyes" are extremely creative and eye-catching. They have recorded stories of the Party and the people and can lead us to feel the pulse of the 100-year history of the Party and touch the vivid texture of the development of the times. Special works of "The Most Beautiful Foreign Experiencers" are attractive and touching. In these works, we can see many foreign friends go deeply into various remote places and see different landscapes. Their stories are being told in a vivid and touching way, like a beautiful melody.

The participants have changed cameras in their hands into bridges of communication and have shown the lands under their feet, worlds in their eyes, and expectations of their hearts. Cherishing ideals and faiths, they have achieved the collision of dreams and realities.
