Qingtian Rice-fish Culture System Museum is located in Fangshan, a globally important agricultural cultural heritage protection area. The museum was designed by Mr.Olivier Greder, a professor at the China Academy of Art and a French architect. The shape of the main building is inspired by fish, which is well integrated with the surrounding landscape and agricultural scenery.

The museum has 7 exhibition halls, including the main exhibition hall of Qingtian Rice-fish Culture System, the Hall of Important Agricultural Cultural Heritage List, the Hall of Chinese Rice Culture, the Hall of Oujiang Freshwater Fish, and the Hall of Digital Agricultural Heritage. In these exhibition halls, the history, ecological model, farming techniques and cultural inheritance and development of the Rice-fish Culture System are comprehensively displayed. It is an important channel to understand the Qingtian Rice-fish Culture System and Important Agricultural Cultural Heritage Systems.

The museum exhibits a large number of Qingtian's local aquatic species and rice varieties, as well as local intangible cultural heritage items such as stone carvings and rice seals.
