In order to further meet the travel needs of passengers between the Mainland and Hong Kong, starting from April 1, the railway department will gradually increase the number of trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and the Mainland. The trains added this time include 40 high-speed trains to and from Guangdong Province and 22 high-speed trains to and from other provinces. The number of trains running on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-speed Rail has basically returned to the level of 2019.


Among them, two high-speed trains will run between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Station, passing Hangzhoudong Station and Jinhua Station. This means that from April 1, passengers from Zhejiang can directly take the high-speed train from Hangzhou and Jinhua to Hong Kong.


According to the previous notice, the newly opened 62 cross-border high-speed trains will start selling tickets at 6:00 on March 23.
