On June 10th, the 10th Session of Jinhua Homestay 2025 Chinese Bridge Doolittle Raid Summer Camp in Jinhua, hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under the Ministry of Education and jointly organized by the Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Jinhua Municipal Government, and Zhejiang Normal University, kicked off. Sixty teachers and students from five states in the United States arrived at Tantou Village, Lutan Town, Wuyi County.
The guide introduced the over 750-year history and transformation of Tantou Village. Tao Siyan, a chaperone accompanying the students, marveled at the village's development, praising its "living preservation" approach.The American youth experienced traditional Chinese medicine bone-setting, tie-dyeing, and Wuzhou kiln pottery-making, giving them thumbs-up.
It is understood that 47 of the American youth were visiting China for the first time. The organizers set up 11 check-in points. The American teachers and students will also carry out a series of activities in Jinhua.
