Italian company boosts intelligent manufacturing in Jiaxing

The opening ceremony of the joint factory of Sipa and Zoppas, subsidiaries of Zoppas Industries Heating Element Technologies (ZIHET), took place at Jiaxing Economic Development Zone in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on May 8.

ZIHET is an Italian global industrial conglomerate headquartered in Venice, with over 9,000 employees, comprises Zoppas and Sipa. Zoppas is a global leader in electric heating elements and systems, while Sipa holds a leading position in blow molding and injection molding equipment in the plastics industry.

Phase I of the new Zoppas factory in Jiaxing began operations last November, covering an area of 6.61 hectares, with a factory building area of about 58,000 square meters and a total construction area of about 70,000 sq m.

Now in Phase II, the Sipa factory in Jiaxing has also began operations. This phase specializes in manufacturing precision molds for plastic packaging equipment and covers a total area of 15,600 sq m.

As a representative of prominent foreign-funded enterprises in the Jiaxing Economic Development Zone, ZIHET's development is of significant importance to the zone.

The opening of the new factory in Jiaxing will further enhance the upstream and downstream industrial value chain of intelligent manufacturing in the zone, promote high-quality economic development, and serve as an active example in accelerating the development of intelligent manufacturing industries.
