West Lake Longjing tea is one of the top ten famous teas in China. It was born in a unique natural environment, which condenses the advantages of the West Lake landscape and the wisdom of the tea-related people in the West Lake. West Lake Longjing tea originated in Tang Dynasty, heard in Song Dynasty, famous in Ming Dynasty, prosperous in Qing Dynasty, and carried forward to the present. It is famous for its "green color, fragrance, sweet taste, and beautiful shape", and is deeply loved by people all over the world.

Through long-term production practice, the ancestors and inheritors of the West Lake Longjing tea area have gradually formed a technical process of breeding fine varieties, diligent cultivation, and fine picking. In particular, they explored a set of frying techniques with distinctive technical characteristics during the frying process, that is, the "Ten Techniques" for West Lake Longjing tea frying. This whole process of planting, picking, and frying fully demonstrates the wisdom and rich cultural connotation of tea farmers.
