At 9: 15 a.m. on December 18, the new Hangzhou Qiantang River Museum and the unit project of Jingfang Sanbao started construction in Qianjiang New Town.

The new Hangzhou Qiantang River Museum, located at the junction of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and Qiantang River, is the junction of Hangzhou's most important rivers. Covering an area of 11,000 square meters, the museum overlooks the rivers converging here and faces Century Lotus. The whole building is in the shape of "swirling tide" as if the Qiantang River and the Grand Canal converge here and then spiral into the air. The shape not only represents the continuous running of the Qiantang River but also embodies the Zhejiang spirit of "sailing through waves".

In recent years, Hangzhou Qiantang River Museum (the old museum) has adhered to its tradition and fulfilled the function of educating people through its spreading of the Qiantang River culture. While making the exhibition plans for the new museum, the old museum actively carries out temporary exhibition planning, explanation, and reception, thematic activities, second classes for the youth and personnel training.

Resettlement housing is the livelihood project for improving the living conditions of the people and upgrading urban development. Each resettlement building represents the image of the city and is where people place their hope. The Management Committee of Qianjiang New Town will develop elaborate plans, promote the construction in an orderly manner according to the plan, strictly guarantee the quality of the project, and strive to build the project into a high-quality resettlement housing estate in Hangzhou.
