In launching the thematic education of “Remaining True to Original Aspiration and Bearing in Mind the Mission”, organizations across Zhejiang Province try to fulfill the three missions of Zhejiang, carefully study and implement the guidelines released in the 4th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, promote the comprehensive and thorough implementation of important directions and instructions given by President Xi Jinping and important decisions and deployments of the central government, and make active contributions to the high-level modern governance of Zhejiang Province.

Focusing on basic issues and strengthening the leadership

In the thematic education, the organizations across Zhejiang Province tried to comprehend the guidelines and come up with more ideas in the combination of the overall deployment of the central government and the grassroots practice innovation. Through leading the Party building, they promoted the formation of a grassroots governance work system full of vigor and well-connected at different levels and created more fresh experience in the high-level modern governance of the province.

Oriented around problems, strengthening governance efficiency

In the thematic education, different organizations of the province, under the guidelines of the plenary session, tried to unleash the driving and guiding effect of the “Making One Trip at Most” reform, combine the “current reform” and “long-term establishment”, which not only focused on solving the prominent issues reflected by the people, but also revised and perfect relevant systems and regulations based on the actual conditions of the organization, department or region, and accelerated the building of systems for a high-level modern governance of the province. Meanwhile, different organizations across Zhejiang were aligned to the guidelines by carefully carrying out review and rectification and launching “seven inspection tasks”, including the gap in applying the concept of “great governance” and the gap in unleashing the driving and guiding effect of the “Making One Trip at Most” reform.

Developing skills, enhancing the governance capacity

The key and vigor to promote the modernization of provincial governance lies in the grassroots. Currently, different organizations across the province continuously promote the deepening of “three kinds of services” in rural areas. Party members and leaders at each level have gone out of their organizations to visit the grassroots and launch special surveys on major governance issues. They go to the farmlands to help the grassroots solve risks and hazards, the accumulated appeals from the people and tough issues of enterprises, solve new problems in governance with innovative methods, cover up shortages of governance carefully and keep improving their capabilities in the practices of local governance.

So far, 2,713 members of the leadership at the county (city or district) levels across the province have been assigned to a town (or a sub-district) and 1,371 towns (or sub-districts) have been under the charge of members of the leadership at the county (city or district) levels. The Party members and leaders at each level have incessantly strengthened their governance capacity, formed a batch of high-quality research results on promoting the modern governance, promoted the deep and concrete development of thematic education. The people have perceived an increasingly distinctive sense of gaining, happiness and security.
