The second edition of the China-CEEC Expo was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, from June 8 to June 11, featuring trade shows in three categories, namely the CEEC exhibition, the international consumer goods exhibition and the permanent exhibition of imported commodities. Over 3,000 booths were set up, attracting 2,041 exhibitors and 7,468 professional buyers.


Zhejiang-produced New Historical TV Drama Aired Overseas

Da Lang Tao Sha, or Pioneers of the Era, a Zhejiang-produced historical TV drama premiered on a number of overseas platforms and channels, including YouTube and iTalkBB TV, on the midnight of May 12. The series, shot over four years, tells the story of the founding the Communist Party of China and the Party members’ fighting for China and the Chinese people. It will also be shown in Republic of Korea, Russian, Mongolia, and Portugal, among other countries covered by the Belt and Road Initiative.


Wenzhou Extends Job Offers to World Talents

An online job fair was held recently in Cittaslow International, Yuhu township of Wenzhou and Italy’s Chiaverano. More than 30 young talents from China and Italy took part, exchanging ideas on the culture of slow city, urban construction and cultural tourism.


East Asia Calligraphy Exhibition Held in Shaoxing Museum

A calligraphy exhibition featuring 100 works of 100 calligraphers from China, Japan and Republic of Korea was held in Shaoxing Museum on April 17. As a Culture City of East Asia, Shaoxing city has been regularly organizing cultural activities such as this exhibition. After the call for submissions was issued on February 25, the exhibition received wide support from calligraphers, especially those from cities that have won the title of the Culture City of East Asia, including Ningbo, Xi’an, Nara, Kyoto, Daegu, as well as social organizations in the three countries.
