In accordance to the deployments of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and the Provincial People's Government in response to the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), the Department of Foreign Affairs of Zhejiang Province will provide a multi-lingual (9 foreign languages in total, including English, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian and Arabic) situation briefing on the epidemic in Zhejiang on a daily basis, so as to contribute to the prevention and control efforts by keeping foreign nationals in Zhejiang better informed.

Latest Update by the Health Commission of Zhejiang Province on Jan.30th:  

132 new cases of novel coronavirus were confirmed in Zhejiang Province on Jan.29th. 12 patients were newly confirmed to be in critical condition and 1 was cured and discharged from hospital.

Of the newly confirmed cases, 18 are in Hangzhou, 21 in Ningbo, 58 in Wenzhou, 2 in Jiaxing, 7 in Jinhua, 2 in Quzhou and 24 in Taizhou; of the patients newly confirmed to be in critical condition, 3 are in Hangzhou, 3 in Wenzhou, 2 in Shaoxing, 2 in Jinhua and 2 in Taizhou; the 1 cured and discharged case is in Lishui.

As of 24:00 of Jan.29th, 428 cases have been reported in Zhejiang Province accumulatively, 54 in critical condition and 4 cured and discharged from hospital. 

Of the confirmed cases, 69 are in Hangzhou, 41 in Ningbo, 172 in Wenzhou, 5 in Huzhou, 16 in Jiaxing, 19 in Shaoxing, 20 in Jinhua, 10 in Quzhou, 6 in Zhoushan, 64 in Taizhou and 6 in Lishui; of the cases in critical condition, 17 are in Hangzhou, 1 in Ningbo, 11 in Wenzhou, 5 in Jiaxing, 6 in Shaoxing, 3 in Jinhua, 1 in Quzhou, 1 in Zhoushan, 7 in Taizhou and 2 in Lishui; of the cured and discharged cases, 3 are in Wenzhou and 1 in Lishui.

At present, of the traced 8,011 close contacts, 336 have been released and 7,629 are still under medical observation.
