From January 18 to 19, the 2020 "Year of China, Hometown of overseas Chinese in Zhejiang" International Village Gala was held at Qingtian. Nearly 40 international friends from around the world enjoyed the village gala with the audiences at the site.

Nearly 30 intangible heritage traditional skills and techniques such as Suichang sugar painting, Wenxi peach-stone carving, Tonglu colored-lantern making, Wuyi paint and "Three Treasures of Daishan" made their presence in the New Year’s shopping festival. And performances such as "The First Fish" that has gone global, the new-edition of hundred-bird lanterns of Chuanliao and the singing of Qingtian nursery rhymes by foreign friends were applauded at the village gala.
