According to Zhejiang Women’s Federation that in order to enable all children to enjoy a safe, civilized, peaceful and warm holiday, this year the women’s federation organizations at each level of the province carried out a special series of activities of "Bring Love Home" during the winter vacation. Starting from January, varied funny activities have been staged in the "Homes of Kids" across the province.

"Women’s federation organizations at each level organize the kids to take part in varied activities such as paper-cut for winter decoration, making lanterns, parent-kid creative painting and homework help, with a wish that they could enjoy a fulfilling and delightful holiday. Particularly, they hope that the left-behind kids and the kids in difficulty can enjoy the Spring Festival." Relevant person-in-charge with the family and children's work department of the provincial Women’s Federation introduced that these activities were held at the "Homes of Kids" of villages or communities so that the kids could participate nearby.

Since 2018, Zhejiang Women’s Federation has worked actively with the provincial Department of Civil Affairs to promote the regulated construction and piloting of "Homes of Kids". For two years, a welfare lottery public fund of 6 million yuan has been invested to establish and build “Homes of Kids” in 60 villages (communities) of 43 counties (cities, districts) across the province. By 2020, they will continue to build 100 "Homes of Kids" in 26 counties to be developed at a faster pace with a welfare lottery public fund of 10 million yuan so as to bring warmth and benefits to more children.
