Since the outbreak of COVID-19, she has always stayed at the forefront of the battle against the virus. When Wuhan, the first domestic city found to be infected by the ghost of the novel virus, was hit most heavily, she joined the first batch of medical workers to aid Wuhan without much hesitation and kept working for 57 days and nights. At the beginning of April, she was appointed to be the director responsible for regulating COVID-19 examinations, inspecting key hospital departments, and managing infection cases. When she again took part in the assistance team to support Shanghai, China’s international hub, she was one of the core members of the nucleic acid sampling team.

As a veteran battling against the pandemic and a representative of the 15th CPC Zhejiang’s Provincial Congress, she includes public health at the top of her agenda. For her, she recognizes the gravity of tracking and responding to the general public’s demand for a better health continency system and stronger regulating abilities.
