Since May 29, Zhejiang has been seriously hit by the heavy rains. Up to now, the accumulated rainfall capacity exceeded 51% of the normal annual rainfall, stirring much attention national wide. 

Xin'anjiang Reservoir, an important water reservation center has exceeded the flood limit water level, and it is expected to continue to rise in the next three days. 

On the evening of July 7, Chun'an Flood Control and Drought Relief Command issued an announcement to ask the local residents to transfer in advance.

The County is well prepared in the face of the floods. In Lishang Town, the local government insisted that 103 households should be transferred before 12 p.m. However, the job of emergency management is not as easy as it looks. More than 60 cadres in the township visited villagers overnight, persuading and assisting them to take actions. 

There are more than 3,000 cadres in Jiande City had joined the flood control and prevention management, and have managed to transfer and evacuate over 4,000 people. A total of 218 fishing boats along the river have been successfully transferred to the emergency berth.

Jiang Hong, a staff member of the local Jiande government, said that the City would increase manpower and resources to make the emergency response of floods work properly. "We must take actions immediately to minimize the loss", he said in a firm tone.
