Enter the 5G field! This is the first decision made by Chen Kai after he was promoted to president in April this year.

Chen Kai's father started his business the year he was born. Chen Kai's keen sense of business has been cultivated since he was young. Chen Kai actively cooperated with Huawei with the company's marketing team and led the company's technical team to focus on studying high-speed interface technologies such as Type-C and USB 3.0. After two months, Lierda successfully climbed up the "first mountain" in 5G field-5G industrial gateway.

Chen Kai said that seizing the opportunity and taking advantage of the trend is his strategic secret to push the enterprise forward again and again. "Start at dawn and sprint in the direction of light, and the sun will naturally illuminate your whole body."

In the eyes of Chen Kai’s colleagues and subordinates, he has a decision-making style that is brave and optimistic, which makes the company full of vitality in the field of Internet of Things application development. Today, the annual output value of the Internet of Things products of Lierda has risen to more than 400 million yuan, accounting for nearly 40% of the company’s annual operating income.

"When judging whether a project is worth investing, I always think on the bright side. I often choose to ignore some risks because I value some highlights and decide to give it a bold try." Every year, the company will invest more than 60 million yuan to develop new products. Every year, the product team will submit about 30 key project plans to Chen Kai. The approval rate of these projects is as high as 98%. 

Chen Kai's plan of "Internet of Things" is still going on. He plans to further penetrate the industrial chain through joint ventures and acquisitions, and further develop from an IoT communication module manufacturer to an industry leader providing end-to-end IoT application solutions.

"If our company wants to go further, a preeminent team is necessary." At the age of 8, Chen Kai left his parents to study in a boarding private school. When he was 17, he went to Europe to study alone until he was 26. Independence has become the brand of Chen Kai's character. A professional personality test after he became the president of the company made him realize unexpectedly that he pays too little attention to others.

"The impact of this result on me is quite big." Chen Kai said that he has been actively trying to change in recent months. He has tried organizing entertainment activities for employees, attending dinner parties, and sending fruit snacks to employees and so on so as to enhance the interaction with the company team as much as possible.
