Dr. Sato Yuki comes from Japan. He graduated from Hokkaido University in his country with a degree in Agronomy. In 2018, he was invited by Wenzhou Zhenan Technology City as a distinguished talent. His research focuses on applying biological treatment technology to the harmless processing of sewage, solid waste, and excrements of livestock and poultry.

During his stay in Wenzhou, he said that in the local soil of Wenzhou, he has extracted 2 newly undocumented bacterial strains. After experiments, it was found that these 2 strains have strong decomposition effects upon the high-fat and fiber substances in the perishable waste under high-temperature conditions. Now, this decomposition technique has been utilized in the Yaoxi Garbage Sorting Station in Longwan District, Wenzhou for testing, decomposing the collected perishable waste into recyclable organic fertilizer.
