The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou will be held in Hangzhou, China on September 23, 2023, with sailing, windsurfing and beach volleyball events in Ningbo. The one-year countdown clock has started on a series of events for celebrating the Games and making a more significant impact. International guests from dozens of countries, including France, Canada, Italy, Turkey, Syria, and South Africa. international friends from more than ten countries, including France, Canada, Italy, Turkey, Syria and South Africa, actively participated in the activities.

Located in the coastal county of Xiangshan in Ningbo, at 30 degrees north latitude, Banbian Mountain Beach Volleyball Centre, is the venue for beach volleyball contests of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou. From the C-shaped semi-open platform, there are patches of beautiful beach and sea.

The beach is piled up with more than 800 tons of loose and soft fine sand through a rigorous selection process so that athletes can have no worries about potential skin hazards. The international guests held an exciting beach volleyball competition. Under the guidance of the coach, they learnt basic volleyball skills and practised hitting and serving. At the end of a fierce match, everyone was panting but still wore bright smiles as they ran around the court, shouting “We love volleyball!”
