On the morning of April 1, Hangzhou held a pledge rally. Workers of main venue, competition venues and sub sites in all districts and counties swore an oath together, to express the determination and confidence in achieving final success in the preparation of Asian (Para) Games Hangzhou 2022.

All 56 venues for Asian (Para) Games Hangzhou 2022 have been completed and passed the sports event function acceptance. Based on the principle "Province-wide, Hangzhou-led Games Hosting", these 56 competition venues are distributed in host city and co-host cities.

At 10:00am on April 1, two new lines of Hangzhou Metro opened. Before the Hangzhou 2022, 14 lines in the network of Hangzhou Metro are all ready, covering 516 km altogether.

The official posters that were selected globally were also released. The posters centring around themes including "History & Humanities", "Intelligent Technology", "Sports & Competition" and "Happy City", are in concert with the positioning, goals and concept of Hangzhou 2022, and deliver the culture and glamour of Hangzhou. The design of the posters will impress citizens much with "Aesthetics of Jiangnan" and distinct "Form of Hangzhou".

From 18:30 to 19:00 on April 1, the activity "Light up Hangzhou to welcome Asian Games" was held. Five athletes, citizens and workers of Hangzhou 2022 switched on the lights along both banks of Qiantang River, part of venues of Hangzhou 2022 were lit up simultaneously, too.
