2025 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the EU. Belgium is an important trade partner for China. Bruges, in Belgium's West Flanders Province, means "bridge" in Flemish. West Flanders is crisscrossed with waterways and dotted with countless bridges while China's Zhejiang Province is home to many picturesque bridges and legends 2025 also marks the 25th anniversary of the sister-province relationship between Zhejiang and West Flanders.
