Off the stage, at the backside of the show, we met Nazhmedinov, a student from Tajikistan who currently studies courses on business management at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.

Nazhmedinov came to China six years ago and has been living in Zhejiang for four years. What has impressed him the most is the ideal integration of natural landscape and culture-rich vibes in Zhejiang. For him, Zhejiang is his "second hometown".

As a big fan of history studies, Nazhmedinov is passionate about exploring the history and culture of various countries. Being knowledgeable about Eastern culture, he has a great love for Chinese culture and can speak on a few matters about China with great familiarity. For example, in his opinion, the Yangtze River Delta or culturally known as "Jiangnan" has been one of the most economically developed regions in China since ancient times. The culture, food, and ancient architecture of Jiangnan are very distinctive and of great aesthetic value, and are among the representatives of excellent Chinese cultures.

In pursuit of a thorough understanding of the Jiangnan culture, Nazhmedinov often goes hiking or cycling with his friends in his extracurricular time. The region that attracts him the most is the countryside of Zhejiang Province. He is deeply impressed by the tranquility, harmony, ecology, and modern construction there.

During the four year's stay in Zhejiang, he has traveled all over Zhejiang's villages, large and small, and has witnessed the changes and development of Zhejiang's countryside. During the interview, he said that he could personally feel the beautiful combination of ancient and modern elements with each other. The unforgettable impression Zhejiang's countryside gives him is - good integration of well-preserved ancient traditional culture and the use of modern means to drive the economy.

In addition to being a backpacker, Nazhmedinov is also a live-streaming blogger. During his stay in the countryside, he has been actively involved in live-streaming sales, so as to help the local farmers to expand their channels by selling local specialties via a new retailing mechanism - live-streaming.  He said that by introducing the products to the global customers, he was able to further understand the stories behind Zhejiang's rural culture. During a B&B promotion campaign he once participated in, he managed to learn the brainstorming stories of the B&B and had also learned that many details of the B&B were inspired by the local folklore. Nazhmedinov said sincerely that although he was a foreigner and did not know much about those folk customs, this intention was very touching to him.

As the interview progressed, Nazhmedinov also shared his opinions about the influences of the Internet on rural revitalization. He thinks that, first of all, the Internet makes China's countryside known to more people, and each countryside has its own special products, customs, and local conditions. The Internet can make these valuable things known to more people. Secondly, the Internet economy, such as live-streaming sales, can bring prosperity to the economy of the countryside, so that people living in the countryside will have a better life and can, therefore, produce better products, which is a virtuous cycle. Moreover, the Internet also makes rural life more interesting. As more people living in the countryside go live-streaming, such as sharing their life stories and products. This will attract more fellows, especially those young people to come back to the countryside, which is a very good thing.

Looking at Zhejiang's rural revitalization and development initiatives, he believes that the scenario is one of the important reasons behind Zhejiang's economic vitality and social robustness. At the end of the interview, he spoke frankly that the development model of Zhejiang's rural economy is very worthy of reference, and if he returns back to Tajikistan in the future, he hopes to learn from Zhejiang's experience when developing Tajikistan's countryside.
