Hidden in Western Zhejiang, Zhiyan Ancient Village is not only blessed with an advantageous location in mountains and waters, but also ancient history. Zhiyan Ancient Village came into being as early as in the Southern Song Dynasty and has a history of over 850 years. Zhiyan Village has long enjoyed the reputation of a "museum of typical Chinese ancient residential architecture", a "living fossil" of ancient architecture. Despite this, the village still manages not to be disturbed by the outside world. There, visitors will find national level engraved cultural relics, dragon dance among paddy fields, straw shoes braided by elders.
