As one of the famous streets in Wenzhou, how attractive is the Gongyuan Road in the eyes of international friends? It is reported that since the start of the reconstruction of Gongyuan Road in 2019, the affluent cultural deposits of the old town have been fully explored. The well-built "10 scenic spots of Gongyuan Road" have been perfectly incorporated into the cultural scenes with the characteristics of Wenzhou's history and culture. On Oct. 1, 2020, after more than a year of renovation and upgrading, the Gongyuan Road was officially unveiled its mask. The newly built stone road, black tiles, gray walls, lattice windows, pavilions, and memorial archways are having unique antique flavors. A sense of “Old Wenzhou” is invisibly oozed from these antique spots and radiated to all the corners in Gongyuan Road.
