Since the optimization of the epidemic prevention and control policy, the number of flights and passengers at Hangzhou Airport has continued to grow.

On December 14, Hangzhou Airport took off and landed 575 flights, transporting 62,000 passengers. The number of flights and passengers is 35% and 50% higher than a week ago, respectively. Compared with before the epidemic, the number of daily tourists has recovered by about 60-70%.

According to statistics, the number of flights at Hangzhou Airport from December 8 to 14 was 3,780, with an average of 540 per day, and 396,000 passengers were transported during this period, with an average of 57,000 per day. According to statistics from online hotel, travel, ticketing and other reservation system platforms, the number of air ticket searches and page views has increased by more than 100% from last week.

In response to the continuously increasing number of passengers, Hangzhou Airport has opened additional counters and passages in key areas such as check-in and security checks to improve passenger travel efficiency. At the same time, the "One Pass" is fully applied in Terminal 4. Domestic passengers only need to use their ID cards to pass through self-service at check-in, security check, and boarding.

Since the beginning of this year, Hangzhou Airport has stepped up efforts to resume flights. In terms of international routes, 11 international passenger destinations including Rome, Madrid and Lisbon have been resumed or newly opened. In terms of domestic routes, the number of flights to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu has increased significantly, and flights to hot spots such as Chongqing, Kunming, Haikou, and Sanya have gradually resumed or increased.
