Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, is displaying its various horticultural wonders at the 4,200-square-meter Zhejiang Garden of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing from April 29 to May 15.

Aiming to showcase Hangzhou's diverse forestry and gardening cultures and promote the city's image, the event presents a fine collection of plants and featured cultural products with Hangzhou characteristics, such as seal graving, bamboo and wood handicrafts and tea products.

Cultural performances including folk music and flower arranging are also held during the weeklong activity.

Thirty-two percent of the 400 flower and gardening products exhibited in Zhejiang Garden are from Hangzhou.

"The farming and gardening exhibits of Hangzhou remind me of the quality time travelling with my family in Hangzhou," said a visitor from Shanxi province.

The International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 is being held in Beijing from April 29 to October 7, with 110 countries and international organizations in attendance. Nearly 2,500 cultural activities are staged throughout the 162-day international expo.

The horticultural exhibition is the highest-level and largest international fair to be held in China after the International Horticultural Exhibition held in the southwestern city of Kunming in 1999, the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and the first China International Import Expo in 2018.
