A sweet economic wave swept through a raspberry plantation on May 7 in Dianbian village, Wucheng district, Jinhua, Zhejiang province.
Nestled among emerald-green shrubs, ripe ruby-red raspberries adorn the branches, signaling the peak of an ecological picking season that is driving the area's rural vitalization.
During the recent May Day holiday, the plantation welcomed a steady stream of visitors eager to pick and purchase fresh raspberries. Some consumers journeyed from as far as East China's Shandong province to participate in the hands-on harvesting experience.

Beyond fresh fruit sales, the plantation has expanded into producing value-added goods such as dried raspberries, fruit wines, and medicinal extracts.
Additionally, it has partnered with nearby homestays and agritourism farms to create a "picking economy circle". This offers visitors a total rural experience — from a picking experience to local cuisine and cultural immersion.
