At present, 137 wind turbines of Zheneng Jiahai Wind Farm, the largest offshore wind farm in Zhejiang, are fully generating electricity. As of 8:00 on August 16, the annual cumulative green power output was 1.101 billion kWh. Among them, 341 million kWh of electricity has been provided this summer.

Zheneng Jiahai Wind Farm is located in the waters of Hangzhou Bay, including two offshore wind farms, Jiaxing No. 1 and Shengsi No. 2, with a total capacity of 701.15 MW.

'One billion kWh of green electricity is about the annual electricity consumption of 420,000 households. It corresponds to saving about 303,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 800,000 tons.' said Shi Xiaohua, general manager of Jiaxing Wind Power Company.

Since the peak of electricity consumption in summer, Jiahai Wind Farm has increased the inspection frequency and intensity of main equipment and key parts in response to the high temperature in summer. The wind farm has reasonably arranged maintenance, defect elimination, and patrol inspections. A total of more than 30 hidden faults have been investigated and rectified, and more than 100 missing items have been eliminated.
