February 21 marked 200-day countdown of 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and put on a sprint for all the preparatory work. At 11 am, the first section of Hangzhou Metro Line 3, Line 4 Phase II, and the first section of Line 10 opened for operation at the same time, with a total operational mileage reaching up to 401 kilometers.

The opening of the three lines is expected to narrow down the distance between the northwest region of the city and the West Lake scenic area, relieve the travel traffic pressure as well as accelerate the planning and upgrading of the urban area along the line, making the regional development more smoothly and effectively.
