On July 6, 2019, the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City was declared a World Heritage Site at the 43rd session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. On that night, the three-episode humanistic documentary Liangzhu, presented by Zhejiang Radio & TV Group and produced by ZTV WORLD, premiered worldwide, attracting wide attention and praise from audiences at home and abroad. Then, ZTV WORLD immediately launched its global broadcast and promotion. This program is the international communication cooperation project by Zhejiang Radio & TV Group with the widest scope, the largest scale and the longest duration in recent years. It is selected as the key project of "Chinese Culture Going Global" by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for 2019-2021.
