Multi-cultural community titled "Hai’Ou Community" launched in Wenzhou

On the afternoon of Apr 22, "DAKA China, Focus on ZHE" Activity & the Launching Ceremony of the International Networking Communications of the "Hai'Ou Community” was officially launched in Wenzhou. a total of 48 international organizations, social organizations, media outlets, online Chinese language institutions, and overseas Chinese restaurants, as well as a total of 33 international communication and social media influencers, representatives of overseas Chinese, and foreign influencers were invited to be the first batch of members of the "Hai'Ou Community", a multi-cultural community which is currently run by Wenzhou Daily.

21 international social media influencers from more than 10 countries engaged and were invited to be the anchors of International Networking Communications of the "Hai'Ou Community". These foreign influencers come from different places across China, including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Chongqing, and so forth. The establishment of the "Hai'Ou Community" enables foreign friends who like Chinese culture to have a homelike community in their "second hometown" - China.

On behalf of all members of the "Hai'Ou Community", Sumayyah, a proactive doctor in the battle against the COVID-19, was invited to read the declaration of International Networking Communications of the "Hai’Ou Community". During her keynote speech, she said: "Crossing the barriers of regions, mountains, and seas, overseas communication is using innovative methods of socialization, visualization and mobile-orientation to promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning among countries, and enhance cultural vitality around the world..."
