Retrospective exhibition on China's fashion industry from 2011 to 2020 kicks off in style

On the morning of Jan 23, 2021, a grand retrospective fashion exhibition themed "Splendid Decade: Fashion China 2011-2020" kicked off at China National Silk Museum in Hangzhou, the capital city of East China's Zhejiang Province.

Under the patronage of High Fashion Silk (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., the exhibition is organized by the China Fashion Designers' Association and China National Textile Product Development Center, and presented by China National Silk Museum with support from the Silk and Fashion Culture Center of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and Shanghai Business School. 


The exhibition gives a full display of China's fashion history and masterpieces of a few high-profile artists during the past 10 years. The masterpieces on show mainly come from more than one hundred domestic renowned designers such as Laurance Xu, Wu Haiyan, Guo Pei, and so forth.

The exhibition not only periodically summarizes the fashion collection of China National Silk Museum in the past 10 years but also rejuvenates the traditional Chinese fashion culture by inserting more modern, sustainable, and digital elements. 


The exhibition opens to the public for free and it will last until March 21st, according to the organizers.
