Among them, Serbian ambassador to China Milan Bačević pointed out in an interview that in recent years, the political relations between China and Serbia have reached the best period in history. Serbia is small while China is a big country. However, Serbia enjoys a superior geographical position and a constantly developing economy. Thus the two countries have their own strengths.

Serbia has established diplomatic relations with China for more than 65 years and has continuously deepened economic cooperation in recent years.

Milan Bačević said that important projects in Serbia welcome the participation of Chinese enterprises. He stressed that the trade friction between China and the United States has an impact on the whole world, but in any case, Serbia will always support China and Chinese enterprises, including projects of Huawei.

When it comes to the challenge of the COVID-19, Milan Bačević said that the epidemic did have a huge impact on the global economy. But Serbia has always insisted that "virus has no nationality". They are grateful that China has donated a large number of materials to Serbia despite its own shortage of materials, and the staff of the Embassy in Serbia has always insisted on it.

"China controlled the epidemic in the shortest time for the effort from the government and leaders who took comprehensive and effective prevention and control measures. China has made remarkable achievements in the prevention and control of the epidemic, and its valuable experience is worth learning all over the world. I'm very glad that Serbia learned from China early, declare an emergency situation in time, and made the epidemic waned," he said.

Witnessing the reopening of schools and companies across China, including Hubei, Heilongjiang and Jilin, Milan Bachevic said, "I believe that China's economy will soon return to normal in this year, and the last month’s ‘Two Sessions’ is a reflection on the achievements of the Chinese government in the prevention and control of the epidemic."
