The construction of the National Forest Healthy Living Base, as a specific measure to promote the development of a forest healthy living industry, plays an important role in promoting the general health level of the people.

Recently, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the National Health Commission, and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine announced the 96 bases of the first batch of National Forest Healthy Living Base including four bases in Zhejiang.

Tonglu Tianzidi Forest Healthy Living Base

Located in the core area of Tianzidi Scenic Spot, Tianzidi Forest Healthy Living Base is of the wonderful environment: There is no pollution source within 30 kilometers of the extension of the base with an average negative oxygen ion concentration of 15,000 per cubic centimeter, and the noise in the forest health care area less than 20dB.

The abundant precipitation and superior temperature in this area provide excellent climate conditions for the growth of trees. The 90% forest coverage rate makes it the key forest area in Tonglu. Besides, the base is equipped with a 6-kilometer forest trail, including the level trail, slope trail, and mountaineering trail.

Longchuan Bay Forest Healthy Living Base in Qiandao Lake

Longchuan Bay forest health base of Qiandao Lake falls in the southwest Lake area of Qiandao Lake, covering an area of about 2.31 square kilometers. It is the only lake-type wetland in Qiandao Lake.

In the base, all kinds of activities are available: sightseeing cars, environmental boats, mess-hall food, classic movies, and life as educated youth. The combination of various experience projects and wetland eco-tourism makes it a tourist attraction integrating sightseeing, leisure, experience, and homesickness.

Lishui Baiyun National Forest Park

Lishui Baiyun National Forest Park is located between the Xianxia Mountain and Kuocang Mountain with a forest volume of 297,000 cubic meters, a forest coverage rate of 98.64%, and an average air negative oxygen ion concentration of 3,150 per cubic meter.

Beautiful mountains, lush trees, and diverse species witness the integration of natural and cultural landscapes. It has gained the reputation as the "Back Garden" of Lishui City, the "Largest Natural Forest Oxygen Bar" and the "Public Reception Hall".

Lingjiushan Forest Healthy Living Base in Kecheng District, Quzhou

With an area of 4964.8 hectares as well as a forest coverage rate of 90.4%, the Lingjiushan Forest Healthy Living Base keeps its air quality at the national level throughout the year. It is a rare "forest in the city" in China, surrounded by two beautiful streams, Shiliang River and Miaoyuan River.

There are four popular science and education venues in the base, including a forest science museum, forest sketching base, agriculture experience park and forest expansion, and training camp. Heaps of tourist attractions are available like Peach Garden of Seven Miles Scenic Spot, Lotus Pond Scenic Spot, Happy Mouse in Jungle Adventure Park, Jiuhua Tea Shop Rafting, etc. It is the best choice for citizens to enjoy their leisure time.
