Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology aligns with Zhejiang University, Westlake University, Chinese Academy of Art, Zhejiang Lab, Yangtze River Delta Institute of Tsinghua University in Zhejiang and other units to establish the Zhejiang High-level Youth Elites Association on May 25. 

The first members of the association consist of 287 young elites who major in natural science, agricultural science, medical science, engineering, technical science, and other humanities domains. Besides, they focus on crossed zones such as humanities, social sciences and etc. In this time, Fan Yuan, the vice-chairman of the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology and the chairman of DAS-security undertakes the chairman of the association.

It is reported that the selected members who possess with Ph.D. or high titles, among which 77 have been granted national-level science and technology talent awards and honors such as National Prize for S&T Progress Award and National Youth S&T Award. The members are from 11 provincial cities across China.

According to the principal of the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, the association will bring the unique strengths in uniting, assisting, and serving youth into playing aggressively on the academic exchange, achievement commercialization, decision-making consultation, talent recommendation, international communication, and other fields.

Nowadays, as a significant component of technological innovation, integrated advantages means a lot. The association will enhance complementary advantages, promote close cooperation among youngsters in smashing barriers of disciplines, industries, and techniques, thus to continually release innovation potentials and blaze new trails to the overall scientific and technological efficiency.
