A few days ago, we have the chance to take an interview with the post-85s painter Yang Xingkong in her studio. She was standing in front of the drawing board with a brush in her hands. She was drawing the contour lines of characters: a medical worker wearing a mask coming alive on the paper.

Since the outbreak of the COVID19 pandemic, Yang has always insisted on using her brush to record the touching moments amid this global health disaster. She said that she really hoped to record those memorable moments of how people fighting against the epidemic through her pen. She wanted to let all of us what she felt about the steadfastness and faith of the whole society.

During the past two months, Yang has already painted about 100 pieces of works. Now, she is walking through the timeline of her works starting from the day when medical workers dispatched to the frontline to fight against the COVID-19 and the day when they came back from Wuhan, the epicenter. She plans to paint 100 pieces of works to record 100 touching moments on people's fighting against the epidemic in Zhejiang province and Hubei province and groups of different professions.
