With the outbreak of COVID-19, another city councilman in Christchurch has decided to donate part of her salary to charity.


A city councilor of Riccarton Constituency, Catherine Chu, decided to donate 20% of her salary to charity.


Catherine Chu is an Asian woman (from South Korea) who was just elected as a Christchurch Councilor last year. She will now represent the National Party in this year's congressional elections as a candidate for the Banks Peninsula Constituency, and she is a member of the Canterbury District Health Board.



8. Randomized COVID-19 tests conducted in New Zealand to provide an accurate picture of the spread in New Zealand
