Recently, Pinghu received an autographed letter of thanks from Yukio Hatoyama, Honorary Chairman of the Sino-Japan "The Belt and Road" Promotion Association.

In recent times, COVID-19 has been a global concern and face masks have become a necessity and the most badly needed epidemic prevention material. The Xincang town of Pinghu City purchased 25,000 masks and donated them to Japan.

On 7 April, this batch of masks arrived in various areas of Japan. In addition to the Sino-Japan "The Belt and Road" Promotion Association, Sino-Japan Welfare Promotion Association also received these masks. This association was established by Xincang Town in Osaka to promote investment attraction of assistive devices for health care. The staff of the association sent the masks in different cartons to all assistive devices manufacturers, most of which had attended the investment attraction meeting held in Japan by Xinchang Town in December last year.

All the manufacturers expressed their gratitude to Pinghu City after receiving the donated masks. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, who had attended the signing and launching ceremony of the "Pinghu Sino-Japan International Health Care Science Park" project in September last year, wrote an autographed letter of thanks.

最近，平湖收到了一封日中“一带一路”促进协会荣誉主席鸠山由纪夫写的亲笔签名感谢信。

近段时间以来，新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情时刻牵动着全球关注。一时间，口罩成为必需品和最紧缺的防疫物资。平湖市新仓镇积极调配和购买，向日本捐赠了25000个口罩。

4月7日，这批口罩相继抵达日本各地。除了一般社团法人日中一带一路促进协会，捐赠物资也及时抵达了一般社团法人日中福祉事业推进协会，该协会是新仓镇在日本大阪设立的为推进康养辅具招商的一个机构。机构工作人员及时通过分装快寄的方式，把这批饱含平湖人民情谊的爱心口罩寄往各个康养辅具企业，他们大多数都参加了去年12月新仓镇在日本召开的投资推介会。

日本各方收到捐赠的防疫物资后都对平湖市表示感谢。曾于去年9月亲临平湖参加“平湖中日国际康养科技园”项目签约暨发布仪式的鸠山由纪夫先生，更是亲笔写了感谢信致谢。
