At the beginning of the 2020 New Year, COVID-19 broke out abruptly and widely. However, the raging epidemic can’t hinder people from showing each other love and warmth. In the face of unexpected difficulties, all people of China have been united together to jointly overcome the difficulties. Jinhua students abroad have bolstered themselves up against the epidemic in succession.

Act in concerts hand by hand

Recently, the epidemic situation has become grim abroad. Overseas students have faced extreme difficulties in their studies, and warm-hearted Chinese people have also encountered many difficulties in offering help. The Jinhua Federation of Chinese Students Abroad actively encouraged Chinese students abroad to keep in closer touch to help each other and overcome difficulties together. The Yongkang Federation of Chinese Students Abroad set up branches in the United States, Australia, Singapore, and the UK respectively, in order that their volunteers could provide Chinese students abroad with channels for buying air tickets and inform them of the notes on their return to China. 

The members of the federations of Chinese students abroad in England and Australia have gotten keys to some relatively well-equipped apartments from some returned Chinese students. These apartments will be freely made available to Chinese students abroad who will stay at home to protect themselves from COVID-19. 

Make every effort to show love and warmth

Jinhua federations of Chinese students abroad at varying levels have successively subdivided their original WeChat groups to provide students abroad with advisory services, handle matters on behalf of the students, and contact overseas groups and embassies for them. They answer international students’ questions online, push policies regarding epidemic prevention and guide them one by one to take protective measures against COVID-19, in order to protect the students from negative emotions such as panic and anxiety.

Brainstorm for studies of Chinese students abroad

In consideration that studies of many Chinese students abroad and those who have received offers from foreign universities will be more or less impacted under recent grim epidemic situation abroad, the Jinhua Federation of Chinese Students Abroad is about to launch a range of free courses through its official WeChat account and provide students abroad with free learning resources. Meanwhile, a QQ learning group will be indicated on the page of each class so that Chinese students abroad can study, discuss and help each other through the QQ groups.

They try their best as long as they can. Now, it is in a key stage of epidemic prevention and control. The Chinese students' home and abroad have to help each other and hold on to the end. Then, they will be able to appreciate their motherland’s wonderful landscapes of four seasons together upon their victory against the “epidemic”.

庚子新年伊始，新型冠状病毒来势汹汹，然而肆虐的疫情，却挡不住如潮爱心涌流。面对突如其来的难题，举国上下齐心协力，共克时艰，金华籍留学生们亦纷纷挺身而出。

手牵手同心协力

近期，国外疫情形势趋于严峻，海外学子的求学之路异常艰难，国内爱心人士的帮助之路也不顺利。金华市留联会积极倡导海外学子们加强联络，互帮互助，共渡难关。永康市留联会在美国、澳大利亚、新加坡、英国分别成立了留联分会志愿服务队，为需要归国的留学人员提供机票采购渠道并告知归国注意事项。

英国和澳大利亚留联会的会员分别在伦敦、悉尼等地从其他已归国的留学生处获得了一些设施较好的公寓钥匙，免费提供给打算在当地开展居家防疫的中国留学生使用。

知冷暖尽心尽力

金华市各级留联会纷纷细化原有微信群，为暂留海外的海燕们提供咨询代办、海外群体及大使馆联系等服务,在线为留学生答疑解惑，推送疫情防范相关政策，逐一指导做好防护措施，避免其产生恐慌、焦虑等不良情绪。

求学业群策群力

金华市留联会考虑到近期境外疫情严重，许多暂留海外的留学生以及准留学生们的学业或多或少受到了影响，市留联会微信公众号即将组织推出系列温暖公益课程，为广大留学生们提供免费的学习资源。同时在每期课程页附有QQ学习群，方便海外留学生们进群学习讨论，互帮互助。
