"It's my duty to go to the frontline to treat patients!" Di Feng, a 39-year-old doctor, who is the deputy chief physician of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Shaoxing People's Hospital, did not hesitate to sign up to become one of the first medical personnel of Zhejiang province to be sent to Wuhan after he learned on the evening of January 23 that Shaoxing Health Care Commission planned to send respiratory specialists to Wuhan.

Di Feng and more than 30 medical staff sent to Ward 19 of Wuhan Fourth Hospital have worked in the clinical frontline for nearly 60 days.

It was extremely challenging to treat patients in isolation wards. After putting on the heavy isolation clothing, protective clothing, layers of facial masks and goggles, the doctors felt extremely hot and suffocated. Once, when Di Feng walked out of the ward, he found that he hadn’t gone to the toilet and drunk water for 9 hours. He comforted himself that "I can just spend more time treating patients. "

At work, Di Feng’s optimism has infected many people.

"Don't worry, it's going to be okay!" Di Feng used to say to his patients when he was working in the isolation ward.

That's exactly what Di Feng was meant to say. He said that Ward 19 was for patients with critical illness and that as a doctor, he should try to relieve patients’ nervousness and help them gain confidence with his words and deeds because confidence played a positive role in subsequent treatment.

In fact, what Di Feng said was useful for both patients and medical staff there. When the medical team took over the ward, the medical resources were relatively insufficient. "Don't worry, it's going to be okay! We are professional doctors and nurses. If we don't have confidence, how can patients trust us?" Di Feng said that every day after work, they would encourage each other in a WeChat group, and the medical team would make the rounds of the ward two to three times every day to keep abreast of patients' conditions. 

Whenever and wherever possible, they would conduct joint online and offline consultations to discuss treatment options for critically ill patients. Sometimes if they encountered complications in other specialties, they would have remote consultations with their colleagues in Zhejiang to seek more professional diagnosis suggestions. On February 1, Ward 19 witnessed the first patient discharged from the hospital, which greatly boosted the confidence of all medical staff there.

With the joint efforts of Di Feng and his colleagues, an increasing number of patients had mild symptoms or even were discharged. "We will win at last. Everything will get better!” Although Di Feng has returned to Zhejiang, he says that he will continue to cheer up other medical staff who are still fighting in the frontline.

“去一线救死扶伤，是义不容辞的责任。”今年39岁的狄枫，是绍兴市人民医院呼吸内科副主任医师。1月23日晚，他得知绍兴市卫健委要选派呼吸科专家驰援武汉，毫不犹豫报了名，成为浙江首批驰援武汉的医护人员。

狄枫和同分配至武汉市第四医院19病区的30余位医护人员，在临床一线持续工作了近60天。

在隔离病房中救治患者，挑战是指数级增加的。厚重的隔离衣、防护服，层叠的口罩、护目镜，整套装备已经让人闷热难耐。有一回，狄枫走出病房才发现，自己竟然连续9个小时没有上厕所，没喝一口水，“正好可以全身心投入治疗。”

工作中，狄枫也把这份乐观传递给他人。

“放心，一定会好起来的！”在隔离病房的那些日子，狄枫常对病人说的就是这句话。

这正是狄枫的本意。狄枫说，19病区属于重症病区，作为医护人员，一定要在语言、行动方面多加注意，帮病人缓解紧张情绪，才能让他们更好地重拾信心，这对后续的治疗也能起到积极作用。

事实上，这话不仅对患者有用，而且对医护人员能起到鼓励作用。医疗队刚接管病区时，还处于医疗资源相对紧张的疫情初期。“放心，一定会好起来的！我们是专业的医生、护士，如果我们都不相信自己，患者怎么会相信我们？”狄枫说，每天下班后，大家会在微信小群里互相鼓励。

与此同时，医疗队每天组织2次到3次查房，以及时掌握患者病情，只要有机会，就联合进行线上或线下会诊，共同讨论针对危重患者的治疗方案。有时遇到其他专业的合并症问题，还会与浙江后方同事远程连线，寻求专科诊断意见。2月1日，19病区迎来第一例出院病例，这无疑给所有医护人员增添了信心。

在狄枫和同事们的共同努力下，重症转轻、阳性转阴、康复回家的患者渐渐多了起来。“一定会胜利，一定能好起来。”虽然已经回到浙江，但狄枫说，他依然在为一线抗疫人员加油鼓劲。
