"We overseas Chinese in Italy are asking for help and support of motherland". Soon after the letter of asking for help was sent, medical materials including boxes of disposable masks, N95 medical masks, isolative clothing, protective clothing, and goggles took off from Zhejiang to support Italy. "In mid-March, when we received aiding materials from our hometown, all our overseas Chinese in Italy were so excited and we began to distribute the medical materials quickly." Wang Shihuang is responsible for the distribution of supplies throughout the Veneto region near Venice. According to the statistics of the Veneto Overseas Chinese Federation of Commerce and Industry, there are nearly 40,000 overseas Chinese and two or three thousand overseas students in the whole region which means a huge workload.　　  

"We have set up eight or nine temporary distribution points in Veneto to facilitate the access by the heads of local diaspora groups or expatriates. After the local oversea Chinese registers the information, each person can receive 10 disposable masks."

Many local Italian citizens also come to collect supplies when they distribute them. "We'll also give them masks to pass on the love from China to more locals." In Wang Shihuang's eyes, the overseas Chinese and local people share the common fate under the current pandemic situation. "This is the second hometown of my life and work, and I hope the people here will be all right." 　　  　　

On March 18, the second group of Chinese medical experts supporting Italy to fight the epidemic arrived in Milan, containing the medical experts from the National Health and Health Commission and Zhejiang Province from the gathering of medical experts from Zhejiang Province. "The Zhejiang Medical Expert Group has bought us some TCM for epidemic prevention, and in the next two days, we will be responsible for delivering some of them to the needy patriots. As a "courier" for distributing TCM materials, Wang Shihuang indeed has some worry and fear in such serious epidemic situation, “but as the head of Chinese overseas organization, I shall shoulder the responsibility since something has to be done by someone and under the circumstance like this, we shall not shirk our duty.”

At present, each member of the Epidemic Prevention Emergency Team of the Veneto Overseas Chinese Federation of Industry and Commerce has a clear division of duty such as publishing information, one-to-one problem solving and distributing materials. “We can do everything we can”. Wang Shihuang as the head of the overseas Chinese organization takes more duties himself.

Here in the country of Italian opera, there is a song in Turandot that everyone can sing: “Go away, night. At dawn, we will win! (in Italian it is: “Dilegua, oh notte. All’alba vincerò”)”.  Wang Shihuang firmly believes that this day will come.

“浮云游子意，明月故乡情”。“家书”发出后不久，一箱箱一次性口罩、N95医用口罩、隔离衣、防护服、护目镜……从浙江起飞万里驰援意大利。“3月中旬收到来自家乡的援助物资，侨胞的朋友圈都沸腾了，我们第一时间开始发放工作。”王士晃负责位于威尼斯附近的整个威尼托大区的物资发放。据威尼托华侨华人工商联合会统计，整个大区华侨华人有将近4万人左右，留学生有两三千人，工作量之大可想而知。 

“我们在威尼托设立了八九个临时发放点，方便各地侨团负责人或侨民就近领取。当地侨民登记信息后，每人就能领取10个一次性防疫口罩。”

在发放物资的时候，很多意大利当地民众也会闻讯过来领取。“我们也会给他们一些口罩，将这份来自中国的关爱，传递给更多的当地人。”在王士晃眼里，疫情当前，华侨华人和当地人民命运与共。“这里是我生活、工作的第二故乡，也希望这里的人们能一切安好。”

3月18日，第二批中国赴意大利抗疫医疗专家组抵达米兰，医疗专家组成员来自国家卫健委及浙江省集结的来自浙江的医疗专家力量。“浙江医疗团也带来了一些防疫中药，这两天我们就要负责将一部分中药送递给有需要的侨民。”扮演起“中药快递员”的角色，王士晃说不担心不害怕，那是假的。“但是作为一个侨团会长，就要担起自己肩上的那份责任，有些事情总要有人去做，越是在这样的时候，越不能退缩。” 　　

目前，威尼托华侨华人工商联合会的“防疫应急小组”每个成员都分工明确，发布信息、一对一解决问题、分发物资……“我们能做的都尽量做。”而王士晃作为侨团的大家长，则将更多的责任揽在身上。

在意大利这个歌剧之乡，《图兰朵》中的有一句歌词人人会吟唱：“Dilegua, oh notte. All’alba vincerò！消失吧，黑夜。黎明时分，我们必胜！”王士晃坚信，这一天一定会来的。
