In 1937, the Japanese invaders made the Nanjing Massacre. John Rabe, a German, gathered several righteous international people to set up a security zone in Nanjing, thus saving more than 200000 Chinese lives. Not only that, his "Rabe's diary" is recognized as the most complete historical data of the Nanjing Massacre discovered in recent years.

Thomas Rabe, the grandson of John Rabe, is a doctor at Heidelberg hospital in Germany. Recently, he wrote to Wu Ken, Chinese ambassador to Germany asking for help. He urgently needed a batch of anti-epidemic drugs, which are produced by Chinese enterprises. The Chinese Embassy in Germany contacted the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology immediately and soon found a pharmaceutical enterprise in Zhejiang. The company decided to give medicine for free, and now it has passed the international flight and smoothly transferred it to Rabe's grandson. Although more than 80 years have passed, the friendship between China and Germany is still continuing.

According to the data released by Robert Koch Institute, the federal agency for Disease Control and prevention in Germany, as of 0:00 on April 1 local time, a total of 67366 cases were confirmed in Germany, and 5453 cases were newly confirmed in a single day, with a mortality rate of more than 1%.

Wu said that since the outbreak, there have been many stories of China and Germany helping each other and fighting together. At the beginning of China's outbreak, Germany provided medical supplies to China and also sent experts to Wuhan for scientific research cooperation.

As Heinsberg County in Germany has become a "Disaster Area" of the epidemic, overseas Chinese, Chinese students and Chinese enterprises have spontaneously donated money and materials to help them through the crisis. The county magistrate told Wu Ken that the residents there were very moved. They didn't think there would be any assistance from China at all because at that time the epidemic in China had not been completely controlled. The kindness of the Chinese people moved 250000 people there.

Once again, this outbreak is a challenge for all of humanity, and we can only win if we work together.
