It is needed in the high-precision processing of watch tourbillon, harmonic gears of industrial robots and blades of jet engines. After 15 years of development in the subdivision, Bodoe has had more than 120 patents and occupied 40% of the global market share. Its manufacturing bases in Ningbo, Vietnam's Tỉnh Bắc Giang and Germany's Hesse-Darmstadt have not stopped providing goods to Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Europe, and America. Once Bodoe’s cutting wire is out of stock, nearly half of the world's high-precision machine tools will not work.

"With greater ability comes greater responsibility.” This is Bodoe's motto. As early as lunar new year's eve, anticipating that the customer's inventory would last "no more than one month", the enterprise prepared epidemic prevention materials and produced a 32-page epidemic prevention manual. "We even have the truck drivers ready in advance. Once the port work is resumed, we will be able to ship goods immediately." Wan Linhui said. On February 10, Bodoe resumed full-scale production and continuously improved the utilization rate of production capacity. At present, its production base in the Yinzhou District of Ningbo City has been able to produce 100,000 km of products every day, "capable of circling the earth twice and a half".

With the outbreak of the global epidemic, European and American high-end cutting wire manufacturers have stopped production and more than 6,000 customers of Bodoe all over the world have placed their orders. Wan Linhui sent orders to production bases in Vietnam and Germany to ensure epidemic prevent and production while working in workshops to promote production capacity. He said, "So far, we haven’t delayed a single order!"

The anchor of the global industrial chain

"This order is urgent and it must be fulfilled first." At an early meeting in early March, Zhang Yan, chairman of Ningbo Exciton Science and Technology Co., Ltd., gave an order to Hu Jinfu, director of the Sales Department.

The optical film produced by Exciton is the core component of all photoelectric display terminals. With the world's leading shipments, Exciton makes supplies to Samsung, LG, Hisense, TCL, Huawei, and other world-class electronic enterprises. Affected by the epidemic, the company's downstream customers are running out of optical films. Under such circumstances, Exciton is determined to shoulder its responsibilities to ensure epidemic prevention and production resumption at the same time. Producing at full capacity 24/7, it has become the anchor for the global industrial chain.

The customer whose order was fulfilled first is a Wuhan-based subsidiary of a multinational company. The fulfillment of the order is key to the scheduled shipment of 2 million monitors. Because the epidemic had disrupted the company's raw material procurement plan, it found that it had run out of optical films necessary for production when it resumed production. In the end, through the advanced fulfillment of the order and special delivery, the order was successfully fulfilled five days before the customer resumed production.

Urgent fulfillment of orders and change of orders for delivery has become the business norm during the global epidemic

In this special period, a large number of small companies in Ningbo shoulder their responsibilities, give full play to the advantages of "specialization and innovation", work overtime and make full use of their production capacity to ensure the safety and stability of the global industrial chain in more than 30 key manufacturing fields. In Beilun, Ningbo Xusheng Auto Technology Co., Ltd., which supplies precision aluminum alloy auto parts to global auto companies, has shipped more than 50 containers of products overseas since the resumption of production. Tesla and other world-renowned auto manufacturers sent thank-you letters for this. In Yuyao, Jiangfeng Electronics worked overtime to produce ultra-high purity metal sputtering targets, a core material for chips. In February, when the company shut down for 10 days, its shipments increased 75.3% year-on-year. No orders were delayed due to the epidemic.

"The ‘single champion’ in manufacturing represents the highest level of development and the strongest market strength in the world's sub-sectors and is the first phalanx of global manufacturing enterprises." The relevant person in charge of the Ningbo Economic and Information Bureau said, "Ningbo has 39 such ‘single champions’, ranking first across the country. It has become the pillar of China's manufacturing industry." According to statistics from Ningbo Customs, as of March 25, the exports of Ningbo's "single champions" have totaled RMB 623 million, of which the exports exceeded RMB 245 million in March, up 40% from the previous month, showing a surge in exports.

“能力有多大，责任就有多大”，这是博德高科的企业格言。早在农历除夕当天，预见到客户库存“最多顶一个月”，企业早早备好防疫物资，还制作了厚达32页的防疫手册。“我们甚至连集卡司机都提前预备好了，一旦港口复工，马上能出货。”万林辉说。2月10日，博德高科全面复工复产，不断提升产能利用率，目前，位于宁波市鄞州区的生产基地已恢复到每天10万千米的产能，“能绕地球两圈半”。

天有不测风云，随着全球疫情暴发，欧美高端切割丝制造商停工减产，博德高科遍布全球的6000多个客户的加急增单如雪片般飞来。万林辉一边蹲点车间督产能提升，一边指挥调度越南、德国生产基地防疫保产，辗转腾挪、调剂出货，“到目前为止，一个订单也没耽误！”

当全球产业链的“稳定锚”

“这个急要救，单子想办法插进去！”3月初的一场早会上，宁波激智科技股份有限公司董事长张彦，斩钉截铁地向销售部总监胡金福下达指令。

激智科技的光学薄膜是所有光电显示终端的核心产品，出货量全球领先，客户包括三星、LG、海信、TCL、华为等世界级电子“航母”。受疫情影响，公司下游客户光学薄膜库存普遍吃紧。手握这“一招鲜”，也就意味着身负担当与责任。激智科技一手抓防疫、一手抓复工，24小时满负荷生产，成为全球“液晶显示模组”产业链的稳定之“锚”。

加急插单的客户来自武汉，属于一家跨国公司的子公司，关系到200万台显示器能不能按期出货。疫情打乱了该公司的原材料采购计划，临近复产，却发现生产必需的光学薄膜储备不足，焦急万分。最终，通过紧急插单生产，并安排专车发货，在客户复产前5天，这批加急订单顺利交付，雪中送炭。

加急插单、改单发货，成为全球疫情背景下的商务常态。

在这个特殊时期，一大批宁波“小巨人”扛起责任，发挥“专精特新”的优势，加班加点、开足马力，确保了全球30多个制造业关键领域产业链的安全稳定。在北仑，向全球车企供应精密铝合金汽车零部件的宁波旭升汽车技术股份有限公司，自复工以来已有50多个集装箱的产品发往海外，特斯拉等多家全球著名汽车厂商还为此发来感谢信；在余姚，江丰电子加班加点生产芯片核心材料——超高纯金属溅射靶材，停工10天的2月，该公司出货量同比增长75.3%，没有一个订单因疫情延误。

“制造业‘单项冠军’代表着全球细分行业最高的发展水平、最强的市场实力，是全球制造企业的第一方阵。”宁波市经信局相关负责人表示，“宁波‘单项冠军’总数达到39家（个），数量居全国各城市首位，是中国制造不惧风雨的中坚力量。”据宁波海关统计，截至3月25日，今年宁波“单项冠军”集群出口额共计6.23亿元，其中，3月出口额已超2.45亿元，环比增长超40%，出口回升势头强劲。
