This is how people in Hangzhou greet each other at this moment. A coupon not only stimulates consumption in Hangzhou but also enables many merchants to regain confidence.


From 8 a.m. on March 27 when the application for coupon started to 4 p.m. on March 29, a total of RMB 29.83 million of government subsidies have been offered to the Hangzhou people who have spent a total of RMB 453 million in these days. From 4:01 p.m. on March 28 to 4: 00 p.m. on March 29, the Hangzhou people spent RMB 171 million.

  

The consumption data of the Wulin business circle in Hangzhou's old business district show that the consumers are back. According to Intime Department Store, on March 27, the first day when Hangzhou's coupon was issued, it responded positively to the government's call and launched a “spring beauty festival” activity featuring a 20% discount as long as consumers spent more than 1,000 yuan. Driven by the above two activities, the last week of March witnessed the largest passenger flow this month, with an increase of up to 50% compared with the first three weekends in March.

 

"The government provides a 25% discount as long as consumers spend more than 40 yuan!” After receiving the coupon, many consumers went shopping in supermarkets. The payment through Alipay in the Hangzhou regional store owned by Lianhua Huashang Group accounted for more than 60% of the total payment on March 28, with consumers’ average unit consumption of 79 yuan. 


On Friday and Saturday, the transaction volume through Alipay exceeded 20 million yuan, and the passenger flow increased significantly driven by the first wave of consumer coupons. Meanwhile, Lianhua Huashang took special preferential measures to provide 10-yuan coupons for consumers to shop in CenturyMart and Lianhua Mart from Monday to Friday. Consumers can use the coupon issued by the Hangzhou municipal government and Lianhua Huashang at the same time.

  

Convenience stores are also beneficiaries of coupons. Take a site store owned by Zhejiang Lawson Department Store Co., Ltd. as an example, from 8: 00 a.m. to 12: 00 a.m. on the first day of the distribution of the coupons, its sales volume, passenger flow and Units Per Transaction (UPT) increased by more than 120%, 105% and 120% from the previous month respectively.

在杭州老牌商务区武林商圈,数据显见客流回归。据银泰百货方面统计,3月27日杭州消费券发放首日,银泰百货积极响应政府号召,推出满1000返200的春季美妆节活动。双重促动下,3月最后一周迎来了本月客流量最大的一个周末,对比3月的前三个周末,增幅最高接近50%。


“消费满40元政府补贴10元。”不少消费者领到券后,首先想到去超市消费。在联华华商旗下杭州区域门店,3月28日支付宝支付占比突破60%,平均客单价79元,周五周六两天通过支付宝的交易额超过2000万元,在第一波杭州市消费券激发下门店客流明显增加。联华也配合杭州消费券发放特别推出了优惠举措,周一至周五在世纪联华、联华超市消费的顾客有机会获得10元周末券,可与杭州消费券叠加使用。

  

便利店同样也是消费券的受益者。以浙江罗森百货有限公司一家办公楼立地门店为例,发放首日早晨8点至12点,与同时段销售额环比增幅120%以上,客流环比增长105%,客单环比增幅120%。
