At 11:30 p.m., the WeChat group of "Doctor Zhang's expert consultation room" is still active. The soul of the online consultation group organized by Wenzhou Overseas Chinese Federation is Dr. Zhang Zhiyuan, and the overseas Chinese and volunteers in Spain joined the WeChat group.

Remote consultation for overseas Chinese

The online consultation activity has lasted for more than half a month. Zhang Zhiyuan can't remember how many patients he has treated, but he knows every one of them because he makes a return visit every day.

Among them, one family was admitted to the hospital successfully through his diagnosis and gradually improved.

Through Zhang Zhiyuan's remote diagnosis and treatment, and return visit observation, four or five mild patients have gradually recovered.

Do everything possible to reassure the overseas Chinese

Zhang Zhiyuan believes that there are several suspected cases in the WeChat consultation room, most of them with fever. But Zhang is more concerned about the patient's breathing difficulties than the fever.

"The diagnostic criteria in Europe are different from those in China. Patients need to have a fever for 5 days and have dyspnea before they can be tested in hospitals. Dyspnea may be the demarcation line between severe and mild. Once the patient has this symptom but does not intervene in time, it is likely to develop into severe. And simple fever, chest tightness may also be caused by the common cold or asthma .”Zhang Zhiyuan said.

In order to reassure the overseas Chinese, he always tries his best to care for every overseas Chinese. He has set up a special form for overseas patients to record their health status at any time. He has informed the patients in detail through WeChat about which of the two similar drugs to take, what are the taboos during the taking and how to deal with the side effects. He even worked with the overseas Chinese in European time.

The most important thing is to help people get healthy

As a doctor of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Diseases in Wenzhou Central Hospital, Zhang Zhiyuan has not only conducted remote consultation for overseas Chinese around the clock since the outbreak of the epidemic but also volunteered to support the designated hospital -- Wenzhou Sixth People's Hospital.

Zhang Zhiyuan's ward has 31 mild patients, and he needs to make ward rounds for them every day. In addition to routine medical observation and treatment, he would also chat with each patient.

Zhang Zhiyuan has been a doctor for 11 years since he graduated from Zhejiang University. "For me, it's more important to help others get healthy than money or reputation."
