"Do great deeds in the year of the great epidemic. After the outbreak of the epidemic in China, I was busy in purchasing medical protection materials and donating them back to China, and then I began to help overseas Chinese to open the material transportation channel back to China. Now, when the epidemic broke out in Europe, I began to follow the example of the ancients, "boil medicine and give drink." Ke Haixiao said with a smile.

In order to meet the purchasing needs of overseas Chinese during their isolation at home, Ke Haixiao, President of China European Economic and Cultural R&D Center in Hungary, quickly set up a volunteer team to purchase daily life goods for overseas Chinese. This team is composed of a distribution group, logistics group, and technical group. Each volunteer strives to serve the overseas Chinese in their own positions.

"In five days, more than 100 overseas Chinese families have received the vegetables, rice and other necessities they need!" Ke Haixiao told reporters that overseas Chinese living in Hungary do not go out except in case of emergency, so it is very important to distribute living materials to overseas Chinese. For this reason, they developed a small program. Overseas Chinese only need to place orders through the small program, and then there will be volunteers to follow up on the procurement and distribution services. "

Because of the tight time and heavy tasks, the volunteers in the distribution group use their own cars to transport the materials needed by overseas Chinese. Each car is often loaded with the living materials of more than a dozen families. In addition to the full trunk, even the seats are full of rice, eggs, vegetables, and other materials. " Ke said. These days, he and the volunteers of the distribution team are busy from morning till 8 p.m.

At the beginning of the outbreak, Dr. Zhang Qingbin of Dacheng Medical Center in Hungary, together with Ke Haixiao, started to provide free traditional Chinese medicine tea for improving the immune system in Dacheng Medical Center of "Europe Square Business Center" and "Chinatown Business Center" of Budapest for seven consecutive days at 11 a.m. every day.
